Shaping the future of sustainable building

Working in collaboration with the waste to energy and global construction industries to transform Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA), often destined for landfill, into a high performing, low carbon concrete solution.

We are resolute in our mission to not only make a difference to the lives of people today but to also leave a legacy for future generations and the planet we live in.

Our
Mission

We don’t want to green offset, we aspire to be the real deal.

By remaining true to our values of inclusion, sustainability, responsibility and ambition, Recycl8 is building a socially and environmentally conscious company committed to the Circular Economy and net zero goals.

Our aim is to be a leading sustainable business, trusted and respected for the ethics we adopt and for the services we provide.

As a progressive organisation, we are resolute in our mission to reduce carbon emissions from concrete manufacture.  We work closely with our partners in the waste to energy and construction industries to build a more sustainable future for our planet.

Our breakthrough technology will repurpose Incinerator Bottom Ash into a low carbon, high performance solution for concrete manufacture and accelerate our  collective long-term responsibilities to reduce global CO2 emissions.

With a team comprising specialists from the waste management, academia and global business sectors we are ideally placed to address this challenge now.

Key benefits

  • We Recycle - by upcycling waste from incineration, drastically reducing materials going to landfill
  • We Reuse – by carbon capture via our innovative technology
  • We Remove - Our game-changing technology bonds heavy metals preventing leaching and pollution now and in the future
  • This isn’t green offsetting, this is part of a bigger solution for the Circular Economy

Our
Technology

Reducing your carbon footprint one step at a time.

Our patented technology takes Incinerator Bottom Ash from waste to energy operators, which is often destined for landfill, and transforms it into a low carbon additive for concrete manufacture.

By replacing high CO2 emitting cement and other virgin quarried materials, we will work with manufacturers to reduce their carbon footprint and achieve their climate targets.

Our process absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere. What’s more our technology ensures heavy metals are bonded, preventing leaching and further pollution both now and in the future.

Its environmental credentials are impressive, but our low carbon admix also performs on a practical level. It not only bonds with more strength than traditional cement, but also has less permeability. Our technology also significantly enhances the heat resistance, physical and chemical properties of the cement.

It’s a win-win process.

Waste to energy facilities can avoid sending their ash to landfill and cement manufacturers can offer a significantly reduced carbon footprint, to our ever-growing sustainable built environment.

Our Sectors

Concrete is the most commonly used man-made material on earth. So it stands to reason that our breakthrough technology can be applied across multiple industrial sectors to support them in achieving global net-zero goals.

Our
Team

A team of industry and academic specialists with sustainability at its core.

Inspired by his desire to make a real contribution to the Circular Economy, our Founder, Ian, came up with the idea for Recycl8.

Since then our team has grown to encompass highly respected specialists from a spectrum of industrial sectors, as well as academia. We are united in our common goal to bring our game-changing technology to the global marketplace.

We’re working hard today on a sustainable solution for the construction and waste management industries, that will preserve our tomorrows.

Our people
“I am very supportive of Recycl8's solution which will go towards the construction industry's CO2 challenges and really contribute to the Circular Economy.”
